Cloud-5Lots of news last week about data storage in the cloud from Microsoft and Google. The reaction around the blogosphere was pretty lukewarm after all the news settled down. Maybe this is a reason why. Although it isn’t exactly the same thing for those on the road, there are ways to build your own “cloud” if you’re willing to give it a go. Mark “Sumocat” Sumimoto is taking a look at building his own personal cloud and lays out some of his thinking. His “web-accessible” storage options look interesting.
