MicrousbWell whadda ya know. Some cooperation in the cell phone industry. Looks like a number of cell phone manufacturers (Nokia, Samsung, Motorola, Ericsson, and LG) have agreed on a standard for plugs for the charging adapters. Before you get to excited, note that the agreed upon standard is Micro-USB, not the MiniUSB most folks have at the moment, which means some of the charging accessories you now have will go bye-bye as the new standard rolls out. Here’s a link to the press release.

This news has been all over, but thanks to Chaz911 for sending us info on this as well.
