650GB Flash Drive. At a Price.

Mobile gadget geeks everywhere follow the development and advancement of flash drives with great interest, waiting and hoping for capacity to increase and prices to drop. Well, here’s a bit of news about capacity increasing. Fusion-io is going to be releasing a 640GB flash drive the end of this year. Before you drool over the 800MB/sec read speed and teh 600GB/sec write speed, the price will come in at $30 a GB, or about $19,000. They will have lesser capacity models in the 80GB, 160GB, and 320GB, but that price per GB is still up there.
