Dell Tablet PC Spotted at Educause: December 11 Release Date?

Loren Heiny just pinged me with this link from Educational Technology Services, where the blogger Tom Laughner is reporting from the Educause conference. Mr. Laughner says he got a chance to see Dell’s new XT Tablet PC, and that it looks like a December 11 release date.

Here’s a quote:

I saw Dell‘s new tablet. It’ll be released on December 11. It’s not much lighter than my Toshiba. However, the most interesting thing about it is that you won’t need a special stylus. You can use any hard device (similar to most PDAs). Surprisingly, most tablets require the special stylus.
