Sony’s VGP-UPR1 Dock

USB Docking solutions seem to be popular this fall. Last week I put up a GBM Shortcut on StarTech’s USB to VGA Dock. This week Sony is announcing the VAIO USB Docking Station (VGP-UPR1) that will work on any computer, (not just VAIOs). It not only includes a VGA solution but also DVI. As James Kendrick says in the post where I picked this up from, these docking solutions can come in quite handy for those who use their Tablet PCs or notebooks as desktip replacements. It will set you back $199.99. Lenovo also sent along a docking solution for the ThinkPad X301 I’m evaluating and I’ll be publishing some info on that soon.
