Packard Bell Announces The dot Netbook

Published

on

Well, we pointed to this last week in a comment from Acer’s CEO (Acer acquired 75% of Packard Bell awhile back.) Packard Bell has announced their entry into the Netbook race and it’s called the ““dot.” If it looks familiar, it should as it resembles the Acer Aspire One. The specs are the usual roundup, (8.9 inch screen, Atom 1.6Ghz) but we’re looking at a 160GB HDD here, which is not the norm. From what I’m reading this one is headed to Europe only.
