The CD Drive on my puter broke so I can only backup by e-mailing files to my other computer.

  2. Alissa says:

I have a backup drive but it’s getting full and I’m going be starting video editing soon, which takes up a LOT of space! This would be perfect!

I currently use flash drives but find that they are not nearly large enough for my folders, PowerPoints, etc.

  4. Jennifer S. says:

I had a major harddrive crash on my PC earlier this year. I lost a lot of tems that can never be replaced like pictures of my kids. I have so many photos and so much music that I worry about it happening again. I’ve tried burning my photos to CD, but it’s kind of a hassle, so I don’t do it as frequently as I should. My music isn’t really backed up at all at right now. I know – sad.

  5. Lauren says:

My backup plan is to save to DVDs and flash drives. This would help me make sure all of my files are saved because I don’t have a lot of room to save to and this would save a lot of time as well.

  6. Jordan says:

My current backup setup is a second hard drive on my computer running a second operating system, so that if one hard drive becomes corrupt I can still access it using my second boot OS.

  7. Sue says:

I currently backup data on cds, a flash drive and the internet. This prize would help me to have all my items in one spot.

  8. Wade R says:

only have one external drive – not enough for my needs

  9. Michelle H. says:

I am looking for backup right now because my computer is about to crash and I don’t want to lose my photos.

  10. Rrr Simpkins says:

I am a traveling man so my records including laptops get lost or misplaced in transit. Backups for my PCs are necessary.

  11. Tracy J says:

I have three kids- I need more memory!

  12. Heather C says:

I actually have no back-up scenario…except for maybe emailing files or pics. I think winning those would sure ease my mind a bit when it comes to pictures and documents that I just love!

  13. Lily Kwan says:

My current backup scenario is to copy my files to a flash drive. This prize package would help me because I would have more room to protect my data.

  14. J Jean says:

I just bought a new computer and haven’t yet worked on a backup process. I need to backup and transfer things from my almost-kaput, old computer, and I guess to do that I would make CDs. I would love a more convenient solution, like an external hard-drive. Right now, I feel pretty insecure knowing that my writing could be wiped out the next time I turn on my computer (old). I should know better, a previous computer actually caught fire and I lost my files. The more I talk about this, the more nervous I am. I am going to end this comment and go see if I can do something to save my work. Thank you!

Let’s just say that my current backup scenario consists of 3 hard drives and many dvd’s and cd’s. As you can see, I need help! I would be nice to have all of my stuff on one drive. It would save me a lot of searching!

  16. Chris says:

Backup plan? What backup plan? Oh! You putting everything on DVDs and having no idea what is what since you have a huge stack of them? Well then if that’s what you mean then THAT is my backup plan! Winning this would turn my life around and give me some more physical storage space when the DVDs have been disposed of! It would also help greatly with Time Machine which I haven;t used yet!

  17. Hoffmann says:

Currently I have a far less than ideal backup scenario using time machine, though very selectively as the external hard drive is small.

Hi, I am planning to migrate my Files from my OLD Desktop to my new Laptop when it arrives. I need that extra storage to move my files. I collect MOVIES, MP3s and PICTURES. Not to mentioned my toher Personal files and softwares. This would definitely help me in my task. Thanks…

I’m using a USB 2.0 Western Digital 320GB Passport External HDD. It’s now down to a little over 16gb Free so it would be great to be able to upgrade to a much better HDD so as to really take advantage of the media streaming functions of my router.
