Asus EEE PC Tablet - More pics of the T101 H

IMG_1641

As Rob posted from the floor, Asus aims to impress again with a tablet version of the ever popular EEE PC. Even though this can be seen as just another EEE device, the significance of that swiveling hinge cannot be understated. The device will have a resistive touch screen and will make a compelling case for people looking for an ultra-small Fujitsu P1630 alternative. Check out more pics after the jump.

More pics and coverage to come!IMG_1637IMG_1638

  1. This seems to be a nice tablet replacement to my Kohjinsha SC3.

  2. wow! Pretty exciting stuff. Any word on what Asus will be doing to improve note-taking with a pen on the screen?

  3. Glad to see asus bring out their touch netbooks. Just wish they ditched the reflective screen/bezel and put in a active/touch digitizer.

  4. I think the original poster is wrong.Laptopmag has a hands on video of the tablet and it clearly states they are using n-trig capacitative touch which would an amazing feature.N trig offers even pen support with no vectoring problem.

  5. Just watched the laptopmag videos but I think the capacitive story only applies to the latest of the 3 video’s which is about some concept laptop not related to the tablets now announced.

  6. holy crap. price?

    and GPS :O

  7. the T91 and T101H do have capacitive touch screens. hence the support for multi touch gestures. resistive touch screens do not allow for this. also boss just got back from CES and confirmed all these.
