Asus Prepping an Eee PC with Optical Drive

The lines between netbooks and notebooks continue to blur it seems. Digtimes is reporting that Asus is prepping an Eee PC with an optical drive to be released mid-April. Calling it the by the catchy name of E1004DN, price point looks to be between $531-$590.

Anyone surprised by this?
