I’m surprised it has taken this long for this to start becoming a target. I’ve long felt like the real story of the Amazon Kindle eBook reader was the delivery system that features over the air purchase via Sprint. The key there is not only creating a quick and easy purchase on demand system, but one that doesn’t require the user to purchase a contract.
With more and more talk about more and more eBook readers entering the market, we’re now hearing that talks are taking place with AT&T and Verizon to set up similar type delivery systems. No names are being tossed out yet, but according to this report from Engadget some of these talks might involve college textbooks. All I have to say about that are things like ““it’s a natural†and ““it’s about time.†Of course we’re not there yet, but the model that Amazon and Sprint set up are the wave of the future, and it is only a question of time in my opinion.
