We’re launching a new site called MIDStories.com that will explore how everyday people use Intel-based MIDs. We’re placing 10 MIDs in the hands of 10 families over summer to see how they end up using them and if it makes
them more mobile.

While most members of the GBM community are mobile pros, the families we’re following are a lot less geeky. The most mobile devices in many households 15″-17″ desktop replacement notebooks that rarely leave the kitchen table, bedroom or home office.

William, an 8th grader, is one of the kids that’s checking out a MID this summer. He’s a baseball fanatic and is using a Viliv S5 to watch as many games as possible and keep track of his favorite players.
