Samsung and Sprint are introducing the Reclaim, an eco-friendly phone that is made from 80% recycled materials. Supposedly the bio-plastic is made from corn and does away with some of the nasty materials like PVC and BFRs. The phone will have a camera, bluetooth, use Sprint’s Navigation software, and also come in eco-friendly packaging. It is scheduled to be available on August 16 for $50 (after rebates and all that nonsense), or as soon as the next crop is harvested.
There is no truth to the rumor that once the battery dies you can eat the phone.
