Microsoft Granted Stay on Injunction on Selling Word

Microsoft got some relief from the U.S. Court of Appeals and was granted a stay on the injunction that prohibited it from selling Microsoft Word. The stay allows Microsoft to continue selling Word until its appeal is heard against the ruling that it willfully infringed on a patent held by i4i regarding the processing XML.

Microsoft has a court date of September 23 to make its arguments.
