Sprint Offers Deal on Palm Pre, Then Pulls It

That was quick. A few short hours ago I noticed posts referencing that Sprint was offering $100 off to folks who changed carriers and picked up a new two year contract with Sprint. The idea was obviously to get folks to switch.

Well, looks like the switch is on, but not quite that way. Sprint has pulled the offer after it only being available for a few hours. If you took advantage of it, you are still in luck.

Not so lucky for the folks at Sprint who pulled the switch on this though. Can you say double take?

While not quite the financial bargain that this was briefly, the Touch Pro 2 *is* officially released today, and I ordered mine already. Reviews pouring in on various WinMo sites are very positive by the people who already have a TP2 from either Telus or T-Mobile (plus several pre-order deals with Sprint).
