Get Ready for Some Football with Silverlight

Tonight kicks off the NFL season with a game between the Steelers and the Titans. If you’re one of those who has to negotiate with your significant other for who gets to control the TV remote, you might want to check out the game online. NBC and the NFL have teamed up to bring some games to the Internet. The venture is using Microsoft’s Sivlerlight technology so you’ll have to have that installed.

The player looks to have DVR like controls so it will be interesting to see how it does. Kickoff is just about 36 minutes away, so you better get ready.

    It’s neat software, allowing a lot of individual camera selection and personal direction.

    I wish they did this for the entire league.
