Dolphin Browser Brings Touch Browsing to Android

Posted by | 12/01/2009 | 0 Comments

One of the curious things about Google’s Android is that on most devices it doesn’t allow for multi-touch. Some say this is a part of some agreement with Apple, at least when it comes to multi-touch on phones, or at least a way to avoid legal hassles, since you know, Apple invented multi-touch.

Of course that doesn’t stop developers. The Dolphin browser just came to light and it does allow for a touch browsing experience on the Android platform. Hector Gomez shot a video of the Dolphin browser on the Archos Internet Tablet and for those interested it is surely worth a look.
