Apple Thinking About Replacing Google Search on iPhone with Bing?

image.axdI guess things aren’t all that rosy between Apple and Google (as if other things didn’t already make that apparent.) Rumor is (note: rumor) that Apple is in talks with Microsoft to replace Google’s search on the iPhone with Bing as the default. The way things are going between some of the big players these days (Apple, Google, Nokia, Microsoft, etc…) it is starting to sound like the Hatfields and the McCoys or the Capulets and the Montagues. But something tells me that unlike those feuds it won’t be viewed with a similar romantic view when history looks back. If, and I emphasize “if” this happens look for multi-touch to start springing up on Nexus One and Droid phones within a few days of the announcement.

Thats really funny considering the iPhone Bing app does not work at all if you are outside the US (or more accurately don’t have the phone on US regional setting)
Has been like that since launch, no fix yet in the NZ app store at least
