Asus Says iPad Competitors On The Way

Published

on

There are some companies with an eye on Tablets that will try to make sure they wave at least a small flag this week as iPad hysteria builds beyond a fever pitch. Asus appears to be one of them.

Johnny Shih the chairman of Asus says that Asus is prepping two tablets. One will either run Google’s Chrome or Android and the other will run software from Microsoft. Content consumption will be king, which is no surprise. According to the report in Fortune, Asus is also working on other devices that can be used in the home.

I would imagine that April and May will see all sorts of announcements from other Tablet/Slate makers.

Asus has always made good quality product and they have been making UMPC’s for years so I expect this tablet to be good.
