JooJoo Wants to Add 3G and USB Support

The folks at FusionGarage may not be able to sell a lot of Tablets but they have some spunk, you have to give them that. They’re announcing that they are working on a 3G model for this summer. They are also looking to add USB support for mass storage, which sorta, kinda hints that the whole “We’re a Web Tablet” approach might not have as many legs as they thought.

I guess they are trying to make some hay in the wake of those Courier and HP Slate announcements.

This thing just sounds like good money thrown after bad money. I just don’t think the world is ready for a 100% web experience. Especially from a device that is as expensive as those that can do much more.

JooJoo needs to make a 32, 64, and maybe a 128GB version and not worry about USB for external storage. There is always ways to stream music from remote to your device and besides these devices are just like inbetween devices to use. I can get pretty much all my work stuff done on my iPad without having to turn on my Laptop. I’m not saying that my iPad is replacing my computer but I can do what I have been doing on my laptop at work when on the road. Going from job site to job site the iPad is so much easier and the best benefit ismthe great battery life. I can go all day.
