Pocketables reviews the pocketable Viliv N5

Pocketables has a thorough review of the impressively small Viliv N5 running Windows 7. It’s a clamshell device sporting a touchscreen, appropriately sized keyboard, and Intel Atom processor, and Jenn Lee gives it very high marks on usability.

On a device like this, major questions regarding the keyboard, usability, performance, and battery life are typically first and foremost on a user’s mind. Jenn does a great job addressing all of these. I don’t think the N5 offers enough to sell you on the form factor if you weren’t already open to it (tiny keyboards and resistive touchscreens just don’t work for me), but if you’re a fan of ultra-mobile clamshell PCs, it’s definitely worth checking out.
