Barnes & Noble Goes All In With Nook Branding for new eReader Apps

Published

on

Yes, the eBook Reader wars are still hot and heavy. It look likes Barnes & Noble is going all in by changing up its branding for its new eReader apps for multiple platforms. After christening its Android App as Nook for Android, B&N is now using the same Nook branding for all its reader apps with the release of new Nook Apps for the iPad, the iPhone, and PCs.

The Apps all come with new features and the iPhone App has a slew of them including choices of themes and text sizes, adjustments for day and night reading, and of course it is optimized for the Retina display. Users can now easily delete samples from the application.

If they really wanted to sell more books, they’d quit using their stupid unique version of Adobe DRM and use the normal version that everyone else (except apple) is using.
