GBM ShortCut: The HardCandy Stylus

Warner Crocker —  11/16/2010

The quest for a good stylus that works with devices using capacitive screens like the iPad continues. But I think I might have found a winner. Previous styli I’ve examined do the trick but they are all relatively short and small.

The HardCandy Stylus however feels a bit more like I’m holding a pen in my hand. And in fact, if you ever need a pen, the Hard Candy Stylus offers you both a tip that works with capacitive screens, and also an ink pen on the other end. I’m sure someone is going to get confused along thew way and uncap the wrong end, but hey, you’ve got double your pleasure here if you’re interested.

I like the way the Hard Candy Stylus feels in my hand and the way it lays down digital Ink on the iPad surface. The larger size just feels right in my hand compared to other alternatives. You can pick one up for $34.95 from HardCandy or the same price on Amazon.

  1. What case are you using with your iPad?

  2. Thanks Warner for the heads up on the HardCandy Stylus. This looks very nice for inking. I will have to order one those myself.

@Josh I believe from the looks of it, the case Warner is using is the Macally Bookstand.
