LG Smart Home Appliances with THINQ Technology (Video)

We had mentioned that LG is set to announce its line of smart appliances, which are Internet-connected appliances that are connected to your home’s WiFi network. These appliances, powered by the company’s THINQ technology, can be remotely controlled via your smartphone.

At the LG press event this morning, we had a chance to capture some of the highlights of the smart appliances from LG in the video, posted below.

Some applications for THINQ may be the ability to have robotic vacuum or floor cleaners with webcams mounted on top so you can see what’s happening around your home when you’re away while at the same time having the Roomba-like machines clean your carpets or sweep your floors.

These appliances can be controlled via your smartphone or tablet. In the video, we got to see LG’s simple to use user interface.
