Here is a nice article for using a mobile phone in Europe and your options. It is from Rick Steves’ ETBD (Europe Through the Back Door) website which I highly recommend for those looking to vacation in Europe.

Good commercial to Verizon… but they are very expensive!!! It is better to pre paid international SIM card from companies like Xcom global or iphonetrip…. their services are good and much cheaper!!
