The Droid Charge is finally launching on Verizon Wireless, with availability online and in Verizon stores starting May 14th, but if you don’t want to wait for the stores to open and are OK with waiting for FedEx, you can order the Droid Charge from WireFly for $249.99 with free FedEx shipping.

The Samsung Droid Charge is the latest 4G LTE device to land on Verizon Wireless and earned high marks in our Droid Charge Review. The phone appears to offer better battery life than the HTC Thunderbolt and brings a 4.3″ Super AMOLED display that looks great.

You can preorder the Droid Charge from WireFly today for $249.99 with a two year contract. That’s a savings of $50 off purchasing the Droid Charge direct from Verizon Wireless. The Free FedEx delivery should have the device to you by the middle of next week, which is pretty good for saving $50.

Verizon Wireless is also selling the Droid Charge, but it is currently back ordered for 8-9 days. If you want the Charge soon, you should hit up WireFly or walk into your local store tomorrow — or possibly today.

If you don’t want to sing a contract, you can pick up the Droid Charge for $669 off contract, which is pretty darn high. We’d suggest you wait to see what price it is direct from Verizon since they have been offering better and better off contract pricing since they did away with 1 year contracts.
