If you’re in the market for a Honeycomb-running Android tablet but don’t want to fork over $500 or more, online retailer Woot! is offering the WiFi-only version of the Motorola XOOM for $399.99.
With the Android 3.2 update rolling out to the XOOM, the tablet – which was plagued by a buggy version of Honeycomb at launch – could be a much more solid purchase now. The update finally brings official SD card support, as well as a pixel-doubling option for Android phone apps. Various bug fixes come along for the ride as well.
As always with Woot, this deal runs for one day only. They also have a limited supply, and if they sell out before the day is over, the deal is done. It is a refurbished model, but the retailer says that if the manufacturer (in this case Motorola) won’t replace it, they will honor refunds.
XOOM fans can head over to Woot to snatch one up while they can.
