PlayLater Records Internet TV Like a Tivo

PlayOn turned your computer into a Internet cable box. PlayLater turns it into an Internet TV Tivo box, letting your record your favorite Internet streaming video to your Windows PC so you can enjoy the content at your own liesure, even if your computer doesn’t have an Internet connection.

The application runs on a Windows PC. You start up the program and tell it to record the video from sources like Hulu Plus, Netflix and more. Once PlayLater records the content you can watch it on your computer later on, even when you don’t have Internet access. If you get on a plane without Internet, you still have access to your shows.

I reviewed the service and found it quite useful, even if a little bit flaky. I liked that you can add more than the official channels via the active user support community, that makes add-on channel scripts which you can install.
