The display looks fantastic and is viewable from just about any angle. This is especially important on small devices like smartphones since they’re often viewed at odd angles.

The T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S II has a completely different chipset than the other variants here in the U.S. It features a 1.5Ghz dual-core Snapdragon processor.

One issue with the previous Galaxy S phones was that they didn’t have a camera flash. The Galaxy S II does have one to go along with an improved 8 MP camera sensor. The camera can shoot HD video and there are several pre-programmed shooting modes for both images and movies.

T-Mobile Galaxy SII Battery Compartment

The T-Mobile Galaxy S II comes with an 1850 mAh battery, which is slightly more than the Sprint version and much more than the AT&T version.

In terms of connectivity, the T-Mobile Galaxy S II features Bluetooth 3.0 and Wi-Fi direct so the phone can connect directly to other Wi-Fi devices like wireless printers without going through a router. There’s also an HDMI port so users can stream videos to HDTVs.

The T-Mobile Galaxy S II will go on sale in the U.S. on October 12 online and at T-Mobile retail stores.

T-Mobile also introduced the HTC Amaze 4G and the Sonic 4G Hotspot yesterday. Both of those devices also feature up to 42 Mbps 4G speeds.
