The Nokia Lumia 800, the first of two debut Windows Phone 7 devices from Nokia, is now available in France through carrier Orange. The device will retail for 99€ with a 50€ rebate through the carrier is scheduled to ship within 3 days.
The Lumia 800, a review on GottaBeMobile is forthcoming this week so stay tuned, is the higher end of the two Windows Phone 7 Mango devices that were announced at Nokia World. The other handset is the mid-range Nokia Lumia 710.
The Nokia Lumia 800 features a 3.7-inch AMOLED display with Nokia’s Clear Black Display (CBD) technology to help reduce glare and reflections, single-core 1.4 GHz processor, 16 GB storage, 8-megapixel Carl Zeiss lens, 720p HD video recording capabilities, and non-removable battery. Utilizing an elegant unibody design and curved Gorilla Glass, the Lumia 800 does not have removable storage as well.
