Sprint LG Viper 4G LTE Gets Fully Detailed

Adam Mills —  01/11/2012

Yesterday at CES 2012 here in Las Vegas, we were able to go hands-on with one of Sprint’s first 4G LTE offerings, the LG Viper 4G LTE. However, the carrier didn’t fully reveal the phone in yesterday’s announcement leaving us, and many of you, wondering what the LG Viper 4G LTE is going to have on board. Lucky for us, SprintFeed has nabbed a full specification list and it appears that we now have a good idea of what to expect.

That is, unless Sprint decides to change something prior to the phone’s release later this year.

So here’s the scoop.

Sprint LG Viper 4G LTE

We knew that it was going to be coming with a 4-inch WVGA NOVA display but now we also know that it’s going to be coming with a vanilla version of Android 2.3 Gingerbread, a 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 512MB of RAM, 4G of on board storage space, a 5MP rear camera, a VGA front-facing camera, and a 1,700 mAh battery.

It’ll also have NFC and DLNA support.

It’s definitely not a bad offering and it will certainly appeal to those that don’t want to fork over a ton of money for Sprint’s 4G LTE Samsung Galaxy Nexus.

Unfortunately, no release date or pricing was revealed with the specs so that will remain a mystery until Sprint decides it’s time to share that information.
