While Apple didn’t live stream the new iPad event that took place at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in San Francisco today, the company has, as expected, posted the full video online for the world to see. So that means that if you want to, you can watch the conference in its entirety, which lasts just over an hour and a half.

Apple was expected to announce a device called the iPad 3 or the iPad HD, but instead, decided to just call it, iPad.

The new iPad offers a number of significant improvements over the iPad 2 including a high-resolution Retina Display, a more powerful A5X dual-core processor that offers quad-core graphics, an iSight 5MP rear camera, and 4G LTE connectivity for a number of providers including AT&T and Verizon Wireless in the United States.

  • Hong Kong
  • Singapore
  • Australia

Apple will be keeping the pricing on the new iPad the same.

The 16GB model with Wi-Fi only will start at $499 while the iPad with both cellular data and Wi-Fi will top out at $829 for the 64GB model.

Apple has also dropped the price of the iPad 2 and will be offering up a 16GB model for $399 and a 3G + Wi-Fi model for $529. Those will be the only models available as Apple will be dropping the other storage options.
