MLB at Bat is an essential companion for those that follow baseball. The app provides users with highlights, broadcasts, standings, rosters, a customizable home screen, in-progress video highlights, a Free Game of the Day, and more.

Those features are available for the iOS and Android versions but MLB hasn’t revealed what will be included with the Windows Phone application.

The app comes in two forms, a free version that has limited features and the paid version which allows users to watch every single out-of-market game right from the comfort of their smartphone or tablet.

Subscribers of MLB TV Premium will be able to use the paid application for free.

The Android version of MLB at Bat 12 has a four star rating after 342 reviews while the iOS application has a three and a half star rating after receiving 878 ratings.

Now that the first MLB game of the season has kicked off, we expect the application to show up in the Windows Phone Marketplace soon.
