Siri is facing lawsuits from disgruntled users, but it looks like Samuel Jackson and Zooey Deschanel are on board the Siri revolution with two new iPhone 4S commercials.
The Samuel Jackson Siri commercial aired last night, with the official Apple iPhone 4S logo and carrier branding for Sprint, Verizon or AT&T. Zooey Deschanel’s iPhone 4S commercial aired last night as well.

Sam Jackson uses Siri to find organic mushrooms, time his meal prep and convert measurements, showing off popular ways to use Siri around the house. As expected, there are already a number of mashups on YouTube that drop the PG rating.
This commercial breaks from the traditional Apple mold to bring in a well-known celebrity, but it isn’t a single commercial. A Zooey Deschanel Siri commercial which also began airing last night.
New Girl Star Zooey Deschanel turns to Siri on a rainy day, because she doesn’t want to put “real shoes” on. Most of the Siri uses in this commercial are well-known, but I’m surprised to learn that Siri can find restaurants that mention a specific food and that deliver.
I live in a small city where pizza is the only food with consistent deliveries, so I haven’t been able to use Siri in this manner. Perhaps Siri will finally help me find a Chinese restaurant that delivers.
