The Lenovo IdeaTab S2 is finally on sale at Lenovo after A CES 2012 debut and it’s bringing Android 4.0 and an attractive price to the launch of this Transformer inspired tablet.
Like the popular ASUS Transformer tablet line, the IdeaTab S2 (S2110) tablets come with an optional keyboard dock that enhances the typing experience and ups the battery life to 18-20 hours.
Lenovo offers a nice deal to kick of the sales of this new tablet, with a 16GB model + the keyboard dock available for $399 for a limited time. The base tablet starts at $343 after instant savings which isn’t as cheap as the Nexus 7, but still offers an attractive entry-level price.

Lenovo delivers a 10.1-inch 1280 x 800 resolution display and a choice of 16GB or 32GB of memory, while a 1.50Ghz Snapdragon processor and 1GB RAM round out the internals.
The IdeaTab S2 includes a 1.3MP front facing webcam for chat and a 5MP rear camera with flash if you are inclined to take photos with your tablet.
Rounding out the ports and connections, the IdeaTab S2 features a Micro HDMI, Micro USB and an audio jack. The keyboard docking station includes 2 USB 2.0 ports, a 3-in-1 card reader and a 17-Pin docking connector as well as Micro USB for charging the battery.
The IdeaTab includes a SIM card slot which works with the optional 3G connectivity for users who want to connect the tablet without WiFi or the need for a hotspot.
The IdeaTab S2 retails for $$449 up to $599 with the keyboard dock, but the launch pricing brings the top end 32GB IdeaTab S2 down to $431 with the keyboard dock.
