iOS 6 has arrived, here’s how to install it manually.

First, you’re going to want to download the latest version of iTunes. You can do that through Apple’s website which provides a link to download iTunes 10.7.

Once you have the latest version of iTunes up and running, you’ll then want to download the appropriate version of iOS 6 for your device whether it’s an iPhone 3GS or new third-generation iPad.

So, select the one that you need and make sure you download it to somewhere easily accessible like the Desktop.

Open up iTunes 10.7 and click on the ‘Check for Update’ button with the Option button (Mac) or the Shift button (PC) pressed down. Once you do that, you’ll be prompted and you’ll want to select the file that you just downloaded. That’s why it’s important to put it in a spot that’s easily accessible.

For those that are worried about the process, you may just be better off waiting for the update to download and install. However, for those that want to get it quick, this is an option that’s on the table.

Let us know how it goes and enjoy iOS 6.

Most international carriers use the global standard GSM. Very few carriers (such as Verizon & Sprint in the USA) use the CDMA standard.
