iPad Fourth-Generation Back in Stock at Apple
Just a few days after its initial release date, the iPad fourth-generation returned to stock at the Apple Store which means that those who were thinking about picking one up online but couldn’t can now do so.
Apple’s iPad fourth-generation moved back into stock today after initially being sold out and shipping out in one week and then moving to 3-5 days through Apple’s online store. The device now is in-stock which means that those who place an order today will get the device just a couple of days after placing the order.
Obviously, this is great news for those that were hoping to snag one of these in time for the holiday season.

The news comes shortly after Apple began taking in-store pickups for iPads ordered after 10PM and also after the company revealed that it had sold three million iPads in the first three days that the new iPad fourth-gen and iPad mini went on sale. The company did not reveal just how many iPad minis or iPad fourth-generations were sold however.
The company still lists the iPad mini as shipping out in two-weeks, which could mean that it made up a bulk of the sales in the days leading up to their release and in addition, in the days after.
Apple has yet to release the 4G LTE version of either of those iPads and plans to do so in the weeks ahead though a specific release date is still not known and those who ordered 4G LTE models still haven’t received updated shipping information. The 4G LTE models will allow users to get cellular data through either AT&T, Sprint or Verizon which means that both iPads will obtain data speeds up to 10 times faster than normal 3G.
There is a premium on 4G LTE and Apple charges more for the cellular-enabled iPads.
Apple’s iPad fourth-generation replaces the third-generation which launched earlier this year and brings a couple of upgrades to the table. One, a faster A6 processor. Two, a FaceTime HD camera for video chatting. Three, the Lightning dock and four, Sprint 4G LTE.
