Samsung Galaxy Note Jelly Bean Release Date Rumored for 2013

The Samsung Galaxy Note Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean update, which previously was thought to be rolling out at some point in 2012, is now rumored to be rolling out at some point in 2013, likely January.

Earlier today, it became apparent that the Samsung Galaxy S2 Jelly Bean update, originally thought to be rolling out in either November or December, might be delayed until January of next year. Samsung Sweden shifted the potential roll out window to include January and it appears that next month could be the roll out month for the Galaxy S2 Jelly Bean update.

The Galaxy Note Jelly Bean update roll out may not begin until January.

SamMobile, which backed up January as the likely roll out month for the Galaxy S2 Jelly Bean update, claims that the Samsung Galaxy Note Jelly Bean update, which also had been rumored for the fourth quarter of this year, will also likely be rolling out in January as well. No specific date was given and Samsung has not yet said anything about the timing of the Galaxy Note update which leaves it up in the air.

Samsung itself has only said that the Galaxy Note Jelly Bean update is coming. It has yet to offer any kind of roll out window for the update though it did say back in August that the update would be coming soon. Two of the Jelly Bean updates that it also said would be coming soon, the updates for the Galaxy Note 10.1 and the Galaxy S3, have already both rolled out leaving Galaxy Note owners wondering when they might see their Jelly Bean software arrive.

This is likely not the news that Galaxy Note owners were hoping to hear, especially after a Galaxy Note Jelly Bean leak seemed to point to good things on the horizon, but it’s looking like January might just be the month that this software rolls out.

Like the Galaxy S2 “delay,” it’s unclear how this might affect the roll out plans for Rogers which claimed that it’s Galaxy Note would be getting its Jelly Bean update in early January. We surmised that the AT&T Galaxy Note might see the same type of a roll out considering the two often roll out updates in close proximity to each other.

Typically, Samsung rolls out its updates first to unlocked models then to carriers but it could be that these two updates roll out in a different manner. It looks like we’ll find out in January.

Very true, Samsung just concerned with their sale and no customer service/satisfaction, unlike Apple who are proud to have Million IOS 6 users, and here just handful using JB.
        Shame on you Samsung!

Guys shut up Samsung is trying to release the update. I mean let’s see you try releasing the update in two weeks plus iPhone stinks and they sued Sam mobile even though they buy screens off them. IPhone has no creativity because they have kept the same UI as nearly all the previous iPhones.

Samsung, i want to quote a famous Michael Scott saying.
” Why are you the way that you are? Honestly, every time I try to do something fun, or exciting, you make it… not that way. I hate… so much about the things that you choose to be.”

    WHY ARE WE STILL WAITIIIING??
