It appears that a device toting the Samsung Galaxy S4 rumored international model number GT-I9500 as well as its potential model number for Korea, SHV-E300S, have appeared in two Antutu benchmarks. The benchmarks, discovered by SamMobile, depict devices that are both being tested on Android 4.2.1 Jelly Bean, the current version of the latest OS from Google as well as a Exynos 5 Octa processor clocked at 1.8GHz.

A possible Galaxy S4 benchmark.

The Exynos 5 Octa is the processor that Samsung announced on stage at CES 2013 and it’s a processor that definitely could be inside the Galaxy S4 when it arrives. Until today though, we’d only seen it rumored for the Galaxy Note 3 later in the year.

Of course, neither of these benchmarks confirm anything. One, they could be fake. And even if they aren’t fake, it’s possible that these are just prototypes that Samsung is using and that is no guarantee that either of these features will arrive on the final product. Three, we still don’t know if the GT-I9500 is indeed the Galaxy S4. We’ve seen it show up before, even on Samsung’s official website, but it still hasn’t revealed itself to be the real deal.

That being said, while both of these features are certainly possibilities, take this with a grain of salt until more reliable information surfaces.

The Samsung Galaxy S4 is Samsung’s highly anticipated follow-up to the Galaxy S3 which the company released in May of last year. The device is rumored to have either a 4.99-inch or 5-inch FHD display, which was spotted at CES 2013, a quad-core processor, 13MP camera, and Android Jelly Bean or Android Key Lime Pie.

It’s also rumored to be launching at Mobile World Congress in February with a release planned for sometime in the first half of the year.
