Nexus 4 Now Free at T-Mobile

Published

The T-Mobile version of the Nexus 4 smartphone, which recently was offered for $50 through T-Mobile, now has an even better deal at hand as the carrier is currently offering the Nexus 4 for free, on-contract, for a limited time.

Earlier this month, T-Mobile chopped the price of the Nexus 4 down to a mere $50 for a limited time. The deal is a whopping $150 off the typical $199.99 on-contract price tag that T-Mobile generally offers for the device. However, today, T-Mobile has knocked down the price of the smartphone even further, dropping it all the way down to free for a limited time.

T-Mobile’s website now lists the Nexus 4 as free on-contract. Those hoping for a permanent deal will unfortunately not be in luck today as the carrier makes it clear that this is a limited time promotion. The offer, which is online only, will lasting through the weekend with the price jumping back from free once the stroke of midnight hits on Monday, February 25th.

This is a very good deal as it means that those who wish to get the T-Mobile version of the device will be getting one of the best Android smartphones available for free. Keep in mind, this is not the unlocked model that is sold on the Google Play Store.

The version on the Google Play Store is the unlocked version which, can also be taken to T-Mobile’s network should it be using the proper SIM card and a supported pre-paid plan.

This price drop comes just a few days after the launch of the HTC One, a device that will be coming to T-Mobile’s 4G LTE network in the coming days. The HTC One will join the Nexus 4 as one of the flagships on the carrier’s network. We also imagine that the duo will have to battle the Samsung Galaxy S4 in the months ahead as well.

Consumers who are content with HSPA+ speeds and everything that the T-Mobile Nexus 4 has to offer however will likely not want to pass up on this deal.

Wow,, this was offered higher than $199.00, Heck in January, I called and could not get the phone for less than $275 on an extended contract with full subsidy. The one feature that I could not live without was the lack of Wifi Calling. No Wifi calling and they have no signal boosters/ repeaters in stock till July. Well the One looks good, and I am sporting a deluxe G2.
