The 5 Best Verizon Smartphones [April, 2013]
With March over and done with, we now have a better idea about what to expect from Verizon in the weeks ahead. From the rumored HTC One and the now confirmed Samsung Galaxy S4, there is plenty for prospective Verizon customers to look forward to. Of course, these phones will only help to bolster an already stellar Verizon lineup that will be presented to shoppers during the month of April.
Thus far, 2013 hasn’t delivered much to the largest 4G LTE network in the land. Rather, the new year has been quite slow for Verizon as the carrier has seemingly decided to wait before delivering some of the high end smartphone models that consumers have been waiting for.
Rumors have swirled about a Verizon HTC One, a device that may or may not be coming to shelves during the month of April. Thus far, rumors have suggested that it could replace the Droid DNA, possibly as the Droid DNA 2, but that it won’t come for a month or two after the other carriers release the new HTC One in the United States.
Verizon also recently announced the Samsung Galaxy S4, a device that will be officially be coming to shelves sometime in the new year. However, Verizon has not confirmed when it will be coming and given that T-Mobile isn’t delivering it until May 1st, we may have to wait beyond April for the device to hit shelves across the country.
That said, while two of the best Android options may be weeks away from arrival on Verizon, the carrier still has quite the selection for those that are looking to buy this month.
Verizon remains one of the best options for those looking for a new device as it not only features the largest 4G LTE network in the United States, dwarfing the networks of AT&T, Sprint and T-Mobile, but it also has a vast arsenal of devices that should intrigue consumers this month.
So while the Galaxy S4 and HTC One remain out of the picture for now, here are what we consider to be the five best Verizon smartphones for the month of April, 2013.

Combining a beautiful 4-inch Retina Display with a speedy processor, elegant design, iOS 6 software, 4G LTE and Apple's software support, the iPhone 5 remains one of the best smartphones not only on Verizon but on the smartphone market as a whole. This is a phone that will give consumers a guaranteed two year life span, something that many phones don't exactly promise.
While rumors of an iPhone 5S swirl, it's unclear whether consumers will have to wait until the summer or the fall in order to get their hands on the new iPhone.
