The Samsung Galaxy Note 2, with its 5.5-inch display, S Pen stylus and quad-core processor remains very relevant on Verizon's 4G LTE network and should remain that way until late in the year.

Despite rumors of a Galaxy Note 3, the Galaxy Note 2 will be the premier Galaxy Note model until the fall when the Galaxy Note 3 is expected to arrive. And even then, it will likely be fine for most users, especially those looking for a discount.

As it stands the Verizon Galaxy Note 2 can be found for relatively cheap on Amazon.

    iPhone 5 made the list? Why? Its OS is over 6 years old, the design looks dated and boring. Why was BlackBerry Z10 omitted? Is this editor so grossly ignorant and uninformed??
