Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Design Mysterious, Despite Leaked Photos

Published

on

The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 has allegedly leaked on camera again and this time, the device in question isn’t as blurry. Instead, the camera offers up a blocky looking device masquerading as a Galaxy Note 3 prototype, a design that more than likely won’t come with the final version of Samsung’s brand new smartphone.

For weeks, photos claiming to depict Samsung’s Galaxy Note 3 have leaked to the surface, teasing prospective Galaxy Note buyers ahead of its rumored launch in September. As we’ve noted, Samsung does a fantastic job of keeping the designs of its flagship devices under wraps, making it unlikely that any of the photos are the Galaxy Note 3’s final design.

Today, another unlikely candidate has emerged courtesy of TechKiddy, showing off a device that the site is claiming to be a Galaxy Note 3 prototype in the wild. The device looks nothing like the previous version of the Galaxy Note series, the Samsung Galaxy Note 2, and instead features a very square design, something that Samsung has done away with.

The device could very well be a prototype and it’s also possible that we could be looking at a casing that is holding the real design of the Galaxy Note 3. Remember, Samsung is known to use different casings to throw prying eyes off its plans. Whatever the case may be, this is unlikely to be the Galaxy Note 3’s final design which is said to be taking after the Samsung Galaxy S4.

What that means is that it should have a plastic design but better yet, feature rounded corners, something that the design in question does not have.

The Galaxy S4 wireless charger slips inside the back, so cases still work.

The Galaxy Note 3 is said to look like the Galaxy S4, something that makes a lot of sense.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is expected to make its debut just ahead of IFA 2013 in Berlin, Germany in the beginning of September. September 4th has been rumored as a launch date but that has yet to be confirmed.

As for the device itself, it’s expected to sport a 5.7-inch display, quad-core processor, 13MP camera, 4G LTE data speeds and it’s rumored to be hitting AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile and Verizon at the very least.

We expect the Galaxy Note 3’s design to remain a mystery until just before the device’s launch date when there should be a flood of real Galaxy Note 3 images showing off the final design.

Zero chance thats a lg optimus, the button is rounder and shorter, the case is all black plastic instead of chrome. Also look at the width of the case, it must be around .5 inches thick. No way a new phone would come out looking like that or that thick.

Please Samsung it will be such a huge disappointment if all you do with the Note 3 is make it a bigger version of the S4. You can do so much better than that Sammy. Say 3Gb of ram, snapdragon 800 at 2.3ghz, 16mp camera, 64gb option out the gate to start would be nice…

That isn’t the actual design of the phone. its just in a generic case to hide the actual design. they did the same thing with the last few phones they released. I at the very least would have expected the author to realize this camouflaged technique. Gottabemobile.com needs better writers or a better informed site owner :/
