T-Mobile HTC One Android 4.3 Update Pegged for This Week
The T-Mobile HTC One Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update should roll out sometime this week and more specifically, by the middle of this week, according to HTC President Jason Mackenzie who has been relaying accurate Android 4.3 update information to HTC One owners in the United States.
Over the past few weeks, HTC has slowly, but surely, been pushing out promised Android 4.3 Jelly Bean updates to owners of the HTC One owners in the United States. While the updates originally were slated for September, HTC missed that deadline and promised to push them out shortly after that, and thus far, the company has fulfilled its promises.
First, the company rolled out the Sprint HTC One Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update. The update brought Android 4.3 Jelly Bean features and some Sense 5 enhancement to owners who had been waiting for a major update since the HTC One arrived with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update in April. Next, it was the AT&T HTC One Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update that rolled out last week. Next in line are the T-Mobile and Verizon HTC One Android 4.3 updates, both of which are said to be on schedule.
HTC promised the T-Mobile update by the middle of October and according to Jason Mackenzie, the company is going to hit that time frame as he has promised that the update will roll out by the middle of the week. He did not share exact timing but given that he says “by the middle” of the week, it could be that it rolls out later today or tomorrow. His promise was made on Friday of last week.
Just a heads up that we are still on track (barring some last second issue) to update your T-Mobile One with 4.3 by mid next week.

This means that T-Mobile owners should be on the look out for an Android 4.3 OTA in the next few days as HTC isn’t likely to make promises it can’t keep at this point. The update should bring Android 4.3 features as well as Sense 5 enhancements that should help to improve the experience with HTC’s unique user interface.
As for the Verizon HTC One Android 4.3 update, Mackenzie says that it’s still on track to roll out by the end of October though no specific date is currently known.
