Apple Store Black Friday Sales: iPad Deals + Best Bet for Power Users

Published

on

The Apple Store is ready for shoppers who missed out on Walmart and Best Buy Black Friday sales this morning with a collection of online Black Friday iPad, MacBook Pro, MacBook Air, iMac, iPod and even accessory deals for shoppers.

As we shared very early this morning the new Apple Store Black Friday sales are a change from the standard Apple tradition of cutting prices by $21, $41 and $101 on select products. This is a much better for shoppers in overall value, but it does mean paying a higher up front price and more tax on the purchase. Still, the Apple Store is a good place to look for Black Friday sales online today instead of looking for leftovers in the aisles at stores that opened up last night or early this morning.

Most of the Black Friday Sales are over in stores for the 2013 shopping events, which means even though there were better Black Friday 2013 deals on Thanksgiving and early this morning on Black Friday.

The Apple Store Black Friday sales are available online and in store, but users who want a custom configured MacBook Pro, MacBook Air or iMac should buy online. Users can also do an order for in store pickup.

If you are looking for up front Black Friday sales Best Buy is still a great place to look, with online deals on the MacBook Pro, MacBook Air and MacBook Pro with Retina Display. The Best Buy offers are up front discounts and include one or two models for each notebook, but the Apple Store is selling all models including custom options, with the gift card bonus.

Apple Store Black Friday Sales

With the Apple Store offerings this year, users who normally skip out on Black Friday sales because they want a higher end MacBook Pro can still get in on the savings. This discount will not combine with student or employer discounts, but it will beat the overall savings for the student discount that is $100 on some devices.

  • iPad Air – $75 gift card
  • iPad 2 – $50 gift card
  • iPad mini – $50 gift card
  • iPod touch – $50 gift card
  • iPod nano – $25 gift card
  • Macbook Air – $150 gift card
  • Macbook Pro – $150 gift card
  • Macbook Pro with Retina display – $150 gift card
  • iMac – $150 gift card
  • Apple TV – $25 gift card
  • Nest –  $50 Gift Card
  • $25 to $50 gift cards on other accessories.

Sure, the iPad mini was $100 cheaper after gift card at Best Buy and Walmart earlier this week, but you would need to deal with hectic shopping and possible sell outs at Best Buy. With this deal you end up with a sure fire deal. The gift card cannot be used on this purchase, but most users will find an accessory to spend the cash on, or you can buy AppleCare from Apple after the initial purchase and use the gift card for that.

There are no iPhone Black Friday 2013 deals at the Apple Store, but users can look at the slideshow below to see where they still may be able to score a discount as Black Friday sales wind down.
