12 Days of Gifts App Released in USA for First Time By Apple

By  |  3 Comments

Apple is giving away gifts and has released an App to do just that. The 12 Days of Gifts App is now available, but you won’t see anything but a countdown and a FAQ until December 26. That’s when Apple’s 12 Days of Gifts kicks off. Each day from December 26 through January 6 users will be offered a free movie, TV Show, music, iBook, or App. Accept the offer and download the free gift.

This is the first holiday season that the 12 Days of Gifts will be available in the U.S. It has been available previously in Europe, Canada, and other countries. Gifts will vary by region and the FAQ (see below) offers some advice for those traveling to and from different regions during the holidays. The 12 Days of Gifts App is a universal App and is free to download at this link.

Once you install the App you are asked to confirm the store for your region and you can set Push Notifications to let you know when a gift offer is available.

Except to use this app, you have to be on iOS7. Looks like an “enticement” to get you to upgrade, even though you may take a performance hit.

I hate gifts with strings attached like that.
