Galaxy S4 Android 4.3 Update Release Nearly Complete
The Samsung Galaxy S4 Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update continues to trickle out in the United States with Cricket being the last carrier to issue an Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update to its flagship. This update is one of the last in the United States and it’s a sign that the Galaxy S4 Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update release worldwide is nearing completion.
In October, Samsung announced that it would be rolling out Android 4.3 Jelly Bean updates to the Samsung Galaxy S4, Galaxy S3 and the Samsung Galaxy Note 2. The Galaxy S4 Android 4.3 update roll out started first and began pushing out to users within a few days of the announcement. Sprint and Verizon counted themselves among the first carriers to receive the update, an update that brought Samsung Galaxy KNOX security, Galaxy Gear support and fixes and enhancements.
After some difficulties, which included having to pull the AT&T and U.S. Cellular Galaxy S4 Android 4.3 Jelly Bean updates, the Galaxy S4 Android 4.3 update is now as widespread as it has ever been and today, it has emerged on another carrier inside the U.S. Pre-paid carrier Cricket has issued the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update to its Galaxy S4 and the update, like the others, comes with a number of changes including:
-
Knox support
- Gear support
- 3rd party app update (Cricket, Navigator, Data, Connect)
- Changed method of “hidden menu enable”
- PFM (Pulse Frequency Modulation) mode has been implemented to prevent from any abnormal behavior such as lock-up or PMIC damage
Those who own this version of the Galaxy S4 are encouraged to check inside their device settings for an update that should be lurking around today. If not today, within the next few days as the companies work to deliver the upgrade from Android 4.2 Jelly Bean.
This is one of the last Galaxy S4 Android 4.3 Jelly Bean updates in the United States and it is likely among the last among the Galaxy S4 variants around the world. We know that Vodafone and Telstra in Australia still have yet to roll out their Galaxy S4 Android 4.3 updates but we also know, thanks to their communication, that the updates should be out relatively soon.
Once Verizon pushes out its Galaxy S3 Android 4.3 update and Galaxy Note 2 Android 4.3 update, Samsung will have all but completed its major Android 4.3 Jelly Bean roll outs that started just over a month and a half ago in the United States.

Do you work for Samsung? I’m just wondering because you keep reporting the last phases of the S4 upgrade to 4.3 as if it is just a routine thing.
Many customers still have problems with this upgrade, especially those who have devices not locked to a provider and who rely on Samsung direct to maintain their operating software. Only of course, they haven’t. Many still struggle, weeks after Samsung pushed out a faulty 4.3 update.
Are you being paid not to mention this in your reporting?
Things are far from satisfactory, but you’d never know it from your reporting!

Are you paid as a comment critic? Your comment failed to mention how kids are starving in Africs. You must work for a government cover up.
