There is nothing ‘hidden’ about these features. Sucks that Google News linked to this old news.

Good article. Well-written and informative. Am pretty advanced (just short of rooting) and still picked up 2 good tips (and would have picked up more had I read it when I first got the phone). Don’t listen to TBolt, he’s a troll in a monogamous relationship with his phone who thinks anybody who doesn’t have all 15 tips memorized after 3 days has messed up priorities.

Thanks Knightly. This wasn’t for an enthusiast like Tbolt or those familiar with Android, or stock Android, and instead for average smartphone users and customers. Glad you enjoyed the tips provided!

You might want to mention that the Equalizer for the Google Music player doesn’t allow for customization on the Moto X — you can choose from one of several presets, but can’t adjust the individual frequency bands yourself. This is a major problem for some who want the tone of their music to be carefully tailored.

Thank You very much. I personally don’t know a lot about smartphones and I just ordered the Moto X from offline. This will be a good start to learn how to use it. So, Thanks Again.

Brian Ireley: The Audio Effects Equalizer (available from the Sound menu in Settings) works great with Google Music Play for me! I run it through my truck’s stereo, and with the half-way decent Pioneer system I have, I get really good sound, and damn good bass, for not having a sub.
