5 Reasons the PS4 Is Better Than the Xbox One

Published

on

The Xbox One and PS4 have been out on the market for around nine and ten months, respectively, give or take a few weeks. In any case, it hasn’t even been a full year yet, and I’ve already given up on the Xbox One and traded it in for a PS4.

I got the Xbox One on launch day, ready to experience what next-generation gaming was all about. I bought Madden 25 and Forza 5 to start things off, with the hopes that I’d get more games down the road once Microsoft and other developers released more titles. However, those were the only two games that I still had when I traded the console away.

Forza 5, while really fun at the start, quickly became extremely boring and monotonous

I was excited to play Madden 25, but once I started up a quick match, the first words out of my mouth were, “these are the graphics?” along with a disappointed facial expression to accompany the quote.

I’m not saying I hate the Xbox One, but I’m simply just indifferent about it, and there’s nothing about the new console that makes me want to stay with it. Thus, it’s why I decided to give the PS4 a try.

PS4

With that said, I used Reddit’s /r/GameSwap subreddit to find someone to trade with. Fortunately enough, one of the mods had a PS4 that he wanted to get rid of in exchange for an Xbox One. So I shipped him my Xbox One and he shipped me his PS4 and it ended up being a smooth transaction. I received a pristine PS4 console and bought MLB 14: The Show and an extra DualShock 4 controller ahead of time so that I could get to playing right away.

It might have seemed like a bold move, especially to hardcore gamers who are loyal to a specific platform, but I had nothing holding me back and a list of reasons as to why I didn’t really need to keep my Xbox One, as well as a list of reasons why the PS4 was better than the Xbox One.

The PlayStation Controller Is Far Superior

Perhaps the most important component of any console is the controller, which the Xbox One variant has failed to really wow me much. I like that the overall design hasn’t changed from the Xbox 360, yet Microsoft improved the controller with better triggers that come with integrated force feedback. However, it mostly still feels pretty cheap, and compared to the PS4′s DualShock 4 controller, the Xbox One controller is a bit underwhelming.

PS4-Review-7-620x347

For the longest time, I’ve preferred the Xbox controllers. They felt better in the hand for the most part and I just couldn’t stand the PlayStation controllers one bit. However, the subtle upgrades to the design of the PS4 controller makes it way more comfortable to hold. The joysticks are easier to operate and the four buttons on the right of the controller feel way better to press.

Plus, the integrated headphone jack is huge, and the rechargeable battery doesn’t require that I fumble around with AA batteries all the time.

No Annoying Power Brick

I was pretty ignorant about the PS3 because I was an Xbox 360 gamer during that generation, so I had no idea that the PS3 came without a power brick, but instead just a simple power cable.

So as you can imagine, my face lit up when I realized that the PS4 doesn’t come with an annoying power brick. This changed everything.

PS4-Review-4-620x254

Unlike most people, my gaming consoles have never really stayed out on my home entertainment shelf for long periods of time. I constantly take them with me to my parents’ house whenever I visit, because my dad likes to play golf and racing games. The Xbox One and Xbox 360 are horrible for portability, but the PS4 is a Godsend. I ended up buying an extra PS4 power cable and HDMI cable and keep it at my parents’ house, that way all I need to bring with me is the console and controllers.

The Console Is A Lot Smaller

Speaking of portability, the PS4 is a heck of a lot smaller than the Xbox One, and it fits a lot better in my home entertainment setup, not to mention it’s a lot easier to carry around and travel with when I’m going to my parents’ house.

Of course, many gamers might find this argument to be mostly irrelevant, since your game console mostly stays put in your home entertainment cabinet and you really don’t take out very often. However, with more and more entertainment devices for the living room, more and more households are finding it extremely difficult to fit everything in their television cabinet.

PS4-Review-3-620x440

However, the PS4 is small enough that you should be able to find a spot for it rather easily, as opposed to the Xbox One, which is quite massive.

PS4 Allows User-Replaceable Hard Drives

While both the PS4 and the Xbox One come equipped with 500GB internal hard drives, only the PS4 allows gamers to swap out the drive for a bigger disc and more storage, whereas it’ll void the warranty on your Xbox One.

However, the Xbox One finally allows gamers to add external storage, with at least a 256GB or larger drive and it has to be USB 3.0. Sadly, for the PS4, external storage isn’t supported, but it could come in later update.

In any case, 500GB sometimes just doesn’t cut it, so having that ability to swap out the PS4’s storage drive for something bigger is a huge plus for tinkerers.

Remote Play for PS Vita Is Pretty Awesome

While I personally don’t have a PS Vita and probably will never get one (simply because I don’t play games enough), the ability to essentially stream PS4 games to play on your PS Vita is rather impressive.

As long as your PS4 and your PS Vita are connected to the same network, you can play your PS4 games on your PS Vita portable handheld console, and since Sony has deemed it mandatory to require all PS4 games to come with Remote Play compatibility, you’ll be able to play any PS4 game on the Vita.

So you basically bought PS4 for the hardware, A.K.A. “Looks pretty”. Oh and the remote play which you’ll never use. Sounds great!

I use remote play daily. It’s a phenomenal feature.

This article is the funniest thing I have read ever! I hope this is satire. 4 of the 5 features are superficial / preferential and the other feature is non-standard unless you own a Vita. I came here expecting 1080p, better performance or exclusives – not this garbage. I love my Xbox and wanted to see a compelling argument for me to buy a PS4 also, wrong place to look.

Funny, I’m in the opposite boat. I have a PS4 and plan on getting the XB1 if Sunset Overdrive proves to be a AAA game. The bundle deal seems like it may be a good investment since Tomb Raider will also be timed exclusive. I may hold out until I see more exclusives. I came here thinking maybe this article might open my eyes to something I missed.

Nope. Just hot garbage. I actually like the XB1 controller better. Yes, I wish the console was smaller (they need a slim version) but I have the space for it so its irrelevant. The power brick is annoying but once you hook it up, I could care less. With the cloud and USB storage, who changes out their storage anymore? Lastly, I’ve been looking for a reason to invest in a Vita but like the writer, nothing has compelled me yet. Not sure why Remote Play is awesome when you can only do it in your house. I prefer using my 55 inch TV when I’m home.

My Remote play works outside the house don’t know who you’re listening too, and a majority of users have upgraded the HDD(because we have the ability to do so and is helpful for larger downloads and increasing performance)

Your average consumer would MUCH rather just plug a HD in then swap out a HD.. Sorry. I think the win goes to Xbox One for that. You dont have to COPY or RE-DOWNLOAD all your games like you do on PS4. MUCH EASIER process on the X1. Just plus a 1TB HD in and you are ready to go.

How does the SIZE of a console make it better? This one is just funny..

How does a power brick change your gaming experience? Again.. laughable..

“Far superior” controller? Sorry.. The only reason SOME people think this (this is by no means the majority opinion) is that the DS4 is SUCH a massive improvement over the DS3 controller. For many the X1 still outshines, as it is an evolution of the 360 controller which was considered one of the best of all time.. Almost NO ONE (review wise) has said it is “far superior” then the X1 or X360 controller.

Remote play is awesome.. that I will give you.. But the one REAL reason that PS4 is better then the X1 is it has more powerful hardware.. which doesn’t always mean a better experience or better games.. but it does with out QUESTION have superior hardware in the form of GPU and RAM.

I think the Hard Drive replacement should not be an either/or compared to external hard drive support, but if I have to pick one I would pick the ability to replace the drive that is in the drive, this is not much harder (it may seem daunting to someone who has never done it, but that’s all)… I have some very non-technical friends who replaced their 60GB hard drives in their original PS3 without help and now they’re not stuck with a constantly used USB port, an extra power cord in your living room and yet another box with lights around your TV… for me this is basically less trouble to unplug the PS4 and open it than re-organize my home theater space around an external hard drive for a console.

and this is without counting that an hard drive is pretty likely to fail, replacing it by yourself is a nice to have option.

Pretty disgusting someone got paid to write this.

“Well, I haven’t been doing well in articles lately, hmm, what to do? Oh, I know! I’ll try to ride the now-dying hate train of Xbox and put out something that took no effort or thought! People will click it because the title says PS4 is better! Yeah!”

When did you write this? 2013? Wow almost all your 5 reasons are invalid (except for remote play) and you DO know you’re talking about GAME consoles right? RIGHT? Because… you hardly talk about games except for the first paragraphs when you describe the time you had the Xbox One. Even so the only game you talk about on the PS4 is the baseball one. Really? And you talk about graphics on Madden 25? And you had Forza 5??? Mister you need an eye and brain check because you need some help. Good day.

Great article, everything you’ve said here is what my 360 owning friends have said now owning a ps4. Along with the fact it’s a more powerful machine with a wider selection of game types.

This is garbage. This article is the equivalence of a movie critic comparing two movies based on their DVD covers. There’s really differences between the Xbox One and PS4 though none are mentioned here. I’d say the most overlook difference would be the games available. This should be titled”5 reasons I like the PS4 box and controller casing better than the Xbox”.

Well, first off, everyone commenting on this needs to realize that people make their purchasing decisions based on different features. Yes, those features he listed can be argued about, but believe it or not, people purchase a console based on size, no power brick, etc. This article will really pertain to those people.

I also want to point out, the dum dums (yes, I purposely spelt it like that) that go around saying, “Well I have all consoles, but this console is the best” don’t usually own all consoles. Most people that own all consoles, including myself, will say that all consoles are amazing, and that is why we own them all. There is no better console. They all play amazing games. While you guys are bickering and arguing, I’m just going to enjoy all my games like Master Chief collection, Sunset Overdrive, The Last of Us, Bloodbourne, Super Smash Bros, and Zelda Wii U. The amazing game list goes on. Have fun being limited to one console ;)

Even as a PS4 owner I agree with the Xbox guys that this article is poor.

The 5 BEST reasons why the PS4 is better are:

    Superior multiplats
    Better and more exclusives
    PS+
Best selection of indies (No Mans Sky, Rime, Wild etc. etc.)
More capable hardware looking toward the future

    In no particular order.

Other stuff to chuck in there that Xbox has no answer to: Morpheus, PS Now, Naughty Dog…

There are in fact, about 10,000,000 reasons why the PS4 is better than Xbox One. And the gap is growing. I think its a shame that one console is so much better than the other so early on in its lifecycle, but as a convert from PC gaming (last console I had was a Sega master system!) I’m afraid it looks as though Sony have done a far better job this time around! Let’s hope Microsoft can recover and we get a better competition next time around.

PS4 is definitely better. Hey, I owned X1 before I sold it. But your article doesn’t really convinced readers that PS4 is better. I have sold off my 4 games already because I thought I got bored with it, although they were extremely fun. I still have Killzone SF. Somehow I end up playing my Wii U often too.

This article is pure BS. All five reasons are idiot. I prefer the power brick, it means less heat inside the console, it means surge protection, it means I can play for hours without being worried about overheating. The console is bigger? You know by how much? Do you have numbers or %? Another stupid reason for a console that will be installed in your rack once. The controller is a matter of preference, anyway the one is the best, period. Is the natural evolution from the best controller ever made, and the quality is 10 times better than the first PS4 controllers (they had a revision already, so they were not that great what do you think eh). I also prefer to use a usb portable drive instead of replacing the internal one, you have more options that way.
    STUPID STUPID article.

PS4 has many great games that gamers love. That’s why it’s 10+ million in sales and growing. Sony’s large number of well funded 1st parties will ensure PS4 has a ton of great AAA exclusives, as many or more than PS3.

PS4/Sony exclusives Jun-Dec: The Last of Us Remastered, Driveclub, LittleBigPlanet 3, Infamous: First Light, Samurai Warriors 4, Natural Doctrine, Guilty Gear Xrd, Singstar, and lots of indies (Resogun DLC, Counterspy, Hohokum, Velocity 2X, etc.).

PS4/Sony exclusives 2015 (announced): Bloodborne, The Order, Ratchet & Clank Remastered, Uncharted 4, Let It Die, Deep Down, and lots of indies.

PS4 has 35+ AAA games from July to December 2014. Most of those are multiplatform but there’s no shortage of AAA games for PS4 owners.

PS4 games rated 73+ on Metacritic not on XB1: Final Fantasy XIV, Resogun, Transistor, MLB 14, Injustice, Trine 2: Complete Story, TowerFall Ascension, Infamous 2nd Son, Don’t Starve, flower, War Thunder, DC Universe Online, Dead Nation, Dynasty Warriors 8, MotoGP 14, Oddworld: Abe’s Oddysee, TLOU Remastered, The Swapper, Stick It To The Man, ZEN Pinball 2, Star Wars Pinball, The Pinball Arcade, Pure Pool, Fez, Rogue Legacy, Sound Shapes, Sportsfriends, PixelJunk Shooter Ultimate, SteamWorld Dig, Awesomenauts Assemble, Titan Attacks, Killzone: Shadow Fall, Escape Plan, Outlast: Whistleblower, Hohokum.

1st/2nd party studios include Japan Studio, Polyphony Digital, Naughty Dog, SCE Bend, SCE San Diego, SCE Santa Monica, Sucker Punch, Pixel Opus, Evolution Studios, Guerrilla Games, Guerrilla Cambridge, SCE London, Media Molecule, Ready at Dawn, Quantic Dream, etc.

Sony’s largest 1st party studios like Naughty Dog, Guerilla Games, and Santa Monica are working on unrevealed AAA games. Expect big 1st party AAA reveals in the future. Sony’s 1st parties are well funded and the games division is making a profit.

Sony showed the following games at Gamescom 2014:

Sony exclusives: The Tomorrow Children, Until Dawn, Tearaway Unfolded, Alienation, WiLD, Rime, DriveClub, The Order: 1886, Bloodborne, LittleBigPlanet 3

Timed console exclusives: Dreamfall Chapters, HellBlade, The Vanishing Of Ethan Carter, Volume, HollowPoint, Runemaster, Nom Nom Galaxy, Pix the Cat, Papers Please, In Space We Brawl, Ether One, Qube 2, Snow

Multiplatform games: Silent Hills (P.T. playable teaser), FarCry 4, Destiny, Shadow Of Mordor

PS4 has a steady stream of games all year. According to Listwar it’s now 100 PS4 games to 59 XB1 games. The fact is PS4 has nearly twice as many games as XB1, and many of those are rated 73+ on Metacritic.

I love the fact that someone posts an article about ps4 being better than xbone and the minority of xbox fans, of whom haven’t transferred to the sony with the ps4, have come out of the woodwork…..and yes this is a poor article, the only thing that gave me of any interest is the fact about the size of the machine…buttttt whats the point when 95% of whom have purchased the inferior console in xbone, would have got rid of their xbox 360 to create the space, i mean come man who in there right mind would choose xbone otherwise than the ps4….with the point about graphics of xbox (at the very top and the only mention of software, well not even that) yes they havent got that great in graphics. but they will make it better to become on par with ps4….although that being said….and the fact xbone started off with a low graphical power….it just means that the ps4 will just push further ahead, as their graphical power was already better at the beginning, which means ps4 has a better limit. But by all means xbone aint a bad console….its just not as good as ps4

I own all three next Gen consoles.PS4 is in my room, wii u and xbox in my living room. (These are more family friendly to me) all my fps games and sports games I own on Xbox one because I love this controller more than dualshock 4 for these types of games and has better online multiplayer experience. All my other multiplats, tps, racing, indies I own on ps4(I last of us, infamous, watch dogs, tomb raider) but I just play these by myself.I can’t choose one console over the other because even though I play more on my xbox one I gotta have the exclusives ps4 and wii u have to offer. However if wii u would have been at least as powerful as the xbox one, the wii u would probably the only console I’d own. Every console is great and I could list several different things each one does better than the other.

Well did point out some legitimate claims! I am tired of people saying the ps4 has way more games, I have a ps4 and if you mean way more indie games than yes and half of them are free but they get boring very quickly in my opinion. I think the share play feature will be a huge hit for ps4 as well being able to share a game with a friend!

    08/27/2014 at 7:06 am

I would say these reasons and quite a few others to say the least… Never did like the Bone since it’s conception and I totally lost respect with their failed approach of a sorry launch. They tried to see the error of their ways and attempted to change their entire plan of attack and failed miserably. Only to not deliver on anything they had originally intended on doing.

Microlo$t’s poor planning and feeble attempts at marketing their “plans for the future” were to bold. They thought that since they had the install base already with the 360 the bots were just going to follow suit with this launch and buy it up regardless of what and how M$ threw in the way of the consumer even if it was remotely possible to implement. Well people have obviously felt a bit different I know I have and this is coming from a man who’s owned all consoles pretty much ever. I choose to no longer invest in the shills of a company that “thinks” they have something more special than the next based off of pervious sales/install base. E-3 2012 and all the nonsense said and retorted was enough for me to walk away from them entirely. Oh and they’ve decided to drop support for some things that they originally crammed down the original day one consumers. I know I’ll hear it about how people still love and use their Kinect, but to me it’s always been gimmicky.

Companies need to understand that consumers are the glue that will either hold them together, or simply let them fall to pieces. By going back on everything you have painted for us for years and attempting to slap whatever together just to ship a console was a complete slap in the consumers face. Now when people who cried for them to bring it back that was hilariously sad just to even read that some people still do not get it.

Most lame reasons for owning a particular console… For me it’s the games. Sunset OD is not on PS4 neither will be the new Tomb Raider. For PS4 it will be bloodborne, so if you love video games you will have to own both. Neither will truly be better if the games are good. The Vita is a superior device compared to the 3DS, but the 3DS kicks it’s a** due to better games. These articles make people dumber because they completely miss the point.

Oh look at all these Xbox fanboy tears, its so funny to see you guys cry! Xbox is the lesser console this generation. Why you guys keep arguing is beyond me. PS4 has sold 10 million consoles and is wrecking Xbox on its jome turf, Xbox wont even say what they have sold. Oh one more thing check out PS4s upcoming share play feature its pretty amazing. PS4 for the win!

Is this article intended to be comedic? If it IS serious then it has not set a positive example of what this site provides in my first visit here.

So he likes the power cable with no brick as it eases portability when going to his parents – but he bought additional cables that he leaves at parents anyway……so he could have done exactly the same with Xbox One power supply!!

    “It’s lighter” – by just 400 grams.

The Xbox 360 controller was generally regarded as the best controller around, in it’s time. Microsoft have improved upon it. Even then though controllers are down to completely individual preference.

Vita is regarded as not particularly successful and not a widely used function (even the author states he prob won’t bother) so it is hardly a massive selling point.

Terrible, terrible article that has left a very bad taste in my mouth in regards the editorial quality of this site. :-(

    Hi,

PS4 owner here, I think the first two points are debatable

1 – I like the xb1’s controller, at least as much as the DS4, I don’t see how one can be seen as “far superior” to the other.

2 – The powerbrick thing, this is something most people seem to agree with you, however, I would prefer if it was external for two reasons, first it would make it far easier to replace, second the console would probably generate less heat and be more silent… maybe even smaller!

You forgot to mention that it’s more powerful, thus making games slightly more enjoyable on it!

Also, the OS is not a mess!

The power brick prevents a power shortage to kill your system. The Xbox Controller has a rechargeable battery pack with an insert on the top of the controller to charge, or can use a charging kit. A replaceable hard drive shouldn’t be a problem with the fact of adding an external on an Xbox. You can have multiple plugged in. The Xbox is bigger, but it does have 2 operating systems and multiple fans so it can last longer and be prevented from crashing. The controller has a fine grip and it doesn’t get as great as the 360 controllers. It’s smoother all around. The vibration system is very unique due to the fact of understanding what’s going on in a game just from vibrations.
The Kinect had some effect on graphical features that Microsoft is working on. It used a lot of the Xbox processing which limited the gaming software. I do believe they have release an update that prevents this. The console can run up to 4k with 60 frames per second. It depends on how the developers was to create the games. There are no games out currently or soon that have pushed the Xbox One or even the ps4 to its limits. Only time will tell.
I personally like the Xbox One for the sole reason of it really being an All in One, entertainment system. Allowing me to use it for Skype, internet, Netflix, YouTube, music, Tv, and most of all, fulfills my gaming experience.
And btw. I bought my Xbox, fully function on Craig’s list for 300. That person will regret their choice of selling me it.

Wholly hell you are living there in the “clouds” if you think either system is capable of putting out a game (any game!!!) @ 4k 60fps……. Wow…..really wow! It was established previously from the individuals that MADE THE SYSTEMS that they would not be able to output decent gaming frame rates at 4k……

So sad people actually think that a $400 console will be able to output anything comparable that a $1,000++++++ PC can do today! You are probably one of those people that think there is still a “secret processor” in the Bone……. HAHAHAHAHA so sad.

Im goin to say 2 things only 2…..
1)the ps4 superior……its just a simple gaming system. Much like the xbox 360.main function gaming. Unlike ps3 and xbox one they were designed with home entertainment in mind. That’s why the 3 failed and yes Im a Sony fan It was crap. Both the ps3 and 360 both had a good lineup of games at the end tho
    2) if you all who feel your xbox is a superior system its sad you have to come to a rivals systems article. To have to defend you choice if it superior. Says more then enough… Just saying

An opinion of course is subjective. So I will play devils advocate not because I like or hate the PS4, but because I find the subjective opinions offered here somewhat specious.

The PlayStation Controller Is Far Superior

This is strictly a personal choice you will have to live with based on which console you buy. I have tried both at the local Gamestop and found the XB1 controller superior. However, I the PS4 to be very good whereas the PS3 was to small for my Western man hands. The superior force feedback and triggers just feel more responsive. Then there is the stupid light on the PS4 that you can’t turn off.

    No Annoying Power Brick

My PS3 controller died because the battery would no longer charge. That was an extra $50 (USD) that I shouldn’t have had to spend. Hopefully, this will not happen. With the 360 or XB1 controller this obviously will not be a problem.

The Console Is A Lot Smaller

Small is great until you realize the reason why it was made small was to fit into a small space. What do small spaces usually don’t have? Answer: adequate airflow and cooling. This leaves a greater potential for the console to overheat. Fortunately, it doesn’t sound like that has been a problem yet. Hopefully, it will never be for a majority of PS4 owners. Microsoft built the console the size they did to ensure adequate cooling. Looking at both at the store I couldn’t really see putting the PS4 into a smaller space than I would the XB1 so I don’t really think the size matters unless you care more about aesthetics.

    PS4 Allows User-Replaceable Hard Drives

Since the XB1 allows external storage you don’t need to replace the internal hard drive with anything else. In addition to that you can detach that external hard drive and take it with you to your friends house and play on their XB1 leaving that $400 or $500 (Kinect version) at home while your external hard drive rides in a coat pocket or something to your friend’s house.

Remote Play for PS Vita Is Pretty Awesome

This is only good for those who have a Vita. Personally, I have found games on Android or iOS that are FREE superior than paying $40-$50 (USD) for a Vita game. Hay Day anyone? To me this one is stretch because to take advantage of it you need a Vita and I never owned one even when I had a PS3.

    ———————————–

As far as I’m concerned the real issue is the video games that can be played on your console of choice. If it doesn’t have good games then it doesn’t have a motivating factor to buy it. Microsoft tried to change this game and they might have succeeded if it wasn’t for boneheaded policies at launch. Neither console has impressed me yet with a winner of a game that makes the console an absolute buy. Oh, and the whole resolution/fps thing is a bunch of crap. The game looks and play well because the developers did a good job not because of some bullet point on a list that makes the game good.

I agree 100% with these basic reasons that the PS4 is superior to XBONE. From what I am reading month to month the reasons to get a PS4 are steadily increasing. Microsoft really dropped the ball with their new console, hence 1/3 of all Xbox 360 users have switched to the Sony platform.

the power brick is annoying????? wow, this guy needs to have his head examined… TWICE… what a dumbass… so, let me get this right: not having a power brick makes the ps4 better then x1???? really??? did i read that right???? obviously this dumbass doesn’t even know what the purpose of the power brick is.. i can’t believe there are people this STUPID in this world…

The PS4 has a power brick (aka DC power supply) just like the XB1 and a PC. The difference between the XB1 and the PS4 is the PS4’s is inside the case. It is also 250 WATTS, which is less WATTS than the XB1, which is how they managed to use a 2-prong vs. 3-prong jack and still be within US regulatory standards. Of course if the device goes bad and it is determined to be user error then the whole PS4 has to be sent in whereas the XB1 you can either send in the power brick or just buy a new one for $40 (USD).

“As long as your PS4 and your PS Vita are connected to the same network, you can play your PS4 games on your PS Vita portable handheld console […]”

This also works over the Internet. I have played inFamous: Second Son on my PS Vita on holiday in a bar in Rome (Italy) whilst my PS4 was connected to the Internet at my home in the Netherlands over 700 miles away.

Well I have noticed that a lot of responses are X1 fans and yes I agree he just talks about the system but I have to put into mind we haven’t seen a lot of 1st party games so infamous and kill zone can’t count. But 1st I agree the ps4 isn’t Superior but it is better than the X1 because if u didn’t know that X1 controller is baist off the first Xbox console. Next the X1 when first released was beaten by the wii u
    1.ps4
    2Wii u
    3.X1
Next the ps4 has better graphics than the XB1 like really don’t complain the XB1 has the same graphics as the 360 just the only thing different is that it has more often

Also come on which one allows u to play online with out paying Ya that’s right

And don’t talk about XB1 being for gamers because Microsoft said there self
“Xb1 is for entertainment and the ps4 is for gaming”
So if your a gamer get the PS4
And if u just want to watch the tv and stuff things get the XB1
But all in all there both good systems

Articles like this art interesting, but ultimately pointless in the larger argument of what is better because people will need to decide for themselves. As for what a gamer is it is a state of mind and if you think you are a gamer then you are a gamer. It doesn’t matter how many games you play or what you play them on.
