It is important to remember that this is a beta, which means it is not a finished product. Part of the reason is to find things that don't scale up well to a full release. This may be part of the gameplay and weapons or it could be the server configuration.
During the Destiny Beta last year many gamers could not connect to the servers all the time and had to deal with other issues. We expect that there will be some connectivity issues and even some complaints about weapon balancing during the Black Ops 3 beta. We typically see developers use what they learn during a beta like this to tweak parts of the gameplay and prepare servers for the onslaught of players who will join up on the full release. If the gameplay isn't as smooth as a final game, step back and remember this is not a finished version of Black Ops 3. |
