The Nexus 6 from 2014 had a massive 5.96-inch 2560 x 1440 Quad-HD display. It looked great, but was a huge smartphone even though the bezels were thin and it had dual front-facing speakers.

This year we're getting something similar, but it might not be much smaller. The new Nexus 6P will have a 5.7-inch Quad-HD  display, and improved dual front speakers, but the bezels are rather big from the photo we have above, suggesting it might not be much smaller than last years model. Again, we don't know for sure until it's released, but initial ipressions around the web are the design is rather plain, and not too stylish.

The new Nexus 6P will have the same resolution on a smaller display, so technically it should look better. That said, with such a high resolution it will be hard to tell a different in reality. Both have great screens that users will love.
